PRODUCTION WORK
Mudshark studios tailors to a wide variety of client production needs including: educating and consulting on product design and clay manufacturing methods, deducting the most cost effective techniques to achieve quality and consistency, and implementing innovative production processes to accommodate even the most technically proficient design elements. What are your company’s production needs?
A few years ago, Ruth Frances Greenberg found Mudshark Studios when her studio was asked to produce a large tile installation. Her private commission was a repeating pattern of twenty small ceramic tiles covering over 75 square feet. Mudshark Studios consulted with Greenberg about molds and the slip casting process for her design as well as a means to meet her budget and deadline.

By allowing Mudshark Studios to produce her bisque tile, Ruth was able to take on a larger project in a shorter time span without increasing her overhead. Projects like this allow Greenberg more time to design new patterns and further develop her business. Now Greenberg has over twenty mosaic tile patterns available for purchase in Ann Sacks’ twenty three showrooms across the United States while retaining the same size studio.
